In excerpts published in the Vatican newspaper on Saturday, the pope cites the example of the use of condoms by prostitutes as "a first step towards moralisation", even though condoms are "not really the way to deal with the evil of HIV infection".

Beyonce Is Too Sexy For TV

By K.M. LEW

Beyonce's ad for her first perfume, Heat, has been banned from daytime TV in the U.K. It is "too sexually provocative" for youngsters to watch and it cannot be aired before 7.30pm on British TV, says the Daily Mail.
Fourteen complaints were made about the ad, which mostly shows her in seductive poses and in one scene she appears to be naked in a bathtub. The people behind the ad campaign, Coty UK, claimed the ad was not overtly graphic or explicitly sexual and at no point was Beyonce naked.

Immune Boosters

By K.M. LEW

Folate (or Folic Acid)

One of the B vitamins, folate is crucial to the growth and reproduction of all cells in adults and for maintaining DNA for normal cell production (including the immune system's white blood cells, which help fight disease), says Karen Collins, nutrition adviser and registered dietitian at the American Institute for Cancer Research. Concerns about the potential effect of folate deficiency prompted the U.S. government to have foods such as cereal fortified with the nutrient, which makes taking in the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) of 400 micrograms fairly easy for adults. Eating healthy plant-based foods will also get you there: dark-green vegetables such as broccoli and spinach provide 100 to 200 micrograms per cup, while lentils contribute about 350 micrograms per cup.
